Reciprocal and paid links receive priority review. About one-third of submissions are deleted for the following reasons:
- Submitted to the wrong category or to more than one category
- Inappropriate use of CAPITALIZATI0N, exclamation marks or other punctuation errors, for example, omitting the space after commas and | characters
- Including items subject to change like prices, discounts, email address, phone number, company address
- Adult themes, vulgarity, violence, pornography, racism
- Copyright violations and piracy, copying from the DMOZ
- The site was not accessible during a link check - one strike and you're out
Directories that require, 1) browsing to a category to submit, 2) a logon, 3) a link back, 4) payment, or 5) other hassle factors are only accepted when submitted with the reciprocal option. |
